MARISTELA E. DE PERALTA is a dedicated, kind and
loving grade three adviser of Dumayat Elementary School. She finished her
Bachelor of Elementary Education in 1995 at Urdaneta City University, Urdaneta
City, Pangasinan and an ongoing post-graduate study of Masters in Education Major
in Educational Leadership at Colegio De Dagupan (CDD), Dagupan City,
Pangasinan. Before she entered the public service, she was a teacher for four
years and a head teacher for eight years in a private school of Mother Grace
Learning School, Urdaneta City. After that, she decided to apply to public
school and became a volunteer teacher for four years in Kindergarten at
Binalonan District II and became permanent teacher in Binalonan District I on
2015. She was a consistent awardee of Best Structured Classroom because of her
passion in giving conducive learning environment to the learners. Her hobbies
include singing, art crafts, painting, needle works and she loves teaching and
be with the children because it makes her feel young and alive. She always believe
in the philosophy of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam that “teaching is a very noble
profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If
the people remember me as a good teacher that will be the biggest honour for
me.”
Dumayat Elementary School is a government elementary school located at Dumayat, Binalonan, Pangasinan. It offers primary education from Kindergraten to Grade Six. It follows the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. The school was established on 1972 from a multigrade classes to monograde classes. It has a total of 131 learners and 7 teachers.
