Dumayat ES conducts 2^nd Quarterly General PTA Assembly & Card Day

Parents, Teachers, Barangay Council and School Head of Dumayat ES

Every quarter in the school calendar, the school conducts a Parent-Teacher Conference with parents, teachers and barangay officials. The parent-teacher conference encourages family involvement in the classroom and helps promote positive collaboration and strong unity that would result to positive outcomes for the students and the school.

Last November 5, 2019, the school conducted the 2nd General PTA Meeting and Card Day which focused on the priority projects of the school, what had been accomplished for the second quarter and most importantly, card day. The activity started with a prayer led by Mrs. Marlyn C. Casabar, grade four adviser, followed by singing of the National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Janet G. Sibolboro, kindergarten teacher. The meeting was formally opened by a message of the diligent and dedicated school head, Mr. Ricardo S. Tambogon. On his message, he stipulated that the face of the school is the face of our community, therefore, every parent and community member must help the school in maintaining its cleanliness, orderliness and in supporting every program and project of the school. The supportive and generous Gen. PTA President, Ms. Joan Desamito also give her inspirational and encouraging message on the importance on helping and improving our school because it is the second home of the children. On the part of the barangay council, Bgry. Kagawad in charge of Education, Mr. Ireneo Ochinang encourage the parents in the continuous support and love for the school.

priority projects of the school.

After which, Mr. Ricardo S. Tambogon, Head Teacher III, presented the accomplishment of our school for the second quarter. As shown in his presentations, parents and other attendees saw the numerous accomplishments that have done by the new management of the school in a short period of time. Some of the accomplishments are repainting of the Kindergarten classroom, repainting of the chairs of the grade one students, repainting of roof in the principal’s office, clearing of our school ground, repainting also of the school canteen.

Mr. Tambogon also discussed the priority projects of the school for the next three years. They are: (1) putting of ceiling of the Kindergarten classroom, grade one classroom and the school canteen (2) strengthen school performance on MPS, (3) lessen frustration readers.

After the discussions, parents went to the advisers of their children for the distribution of the report card of the pupils in their respective classroom. It was an organized and fruitful PTA Assembly. Let us help one another for the improvement of our school!
