of the Month”

Dumayat,
Binalonan,Pangasinan- Two dedicated and responsible teachers of Dumayat
Elementary School namely: Mrs. Marlyn C. Casabar, grade four adviser and Mrs. Maricel
S. Eduarte, grade six adviser, were awarded as “Teachers of the Month” (school
level) for their positive contributions in the school.

Teachers are
said to be the light of the way and like a candle who consumes their light for
their learners. A teacher’s true appreciation comes with greater
responsibility, dedication and compassionate to teaching. As part of the school’s
reward system, the monthly awarding of teacher of the month is just a few appreciation
to understand a teacher’s value and effort in their profession. The school
head, Mr. Ricardo Tambogon, emphasized that true teachers use themselves as
bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having
facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create
bridges of their own.

These two
teachers are role model of the school for their love of teaching and achievements
both in curricular and extra-curricular activities. Marlyn Casabar is a
consistent active coach in Science and GSP. She also offers innovations to the
school and into her teaching or classroom instructions. She shows respect,
punctuality and good influence to her co-teachers. Likewise, Maricel Eduarte serves
as the school leader whenever the school head is not around or in official
business. She leads with fairness, consideration and humility. She is an
efficient, obedient and hardworking teacher.
Teachers are
our greatest public servants; they spend their lives educating our young people
and shaping our nation for tomorrow- Solomon Ortiz.
