Ricardo S.
Tambogon is a public servant in Binalonan District I of Pangasinan Division II.
He is currently the school head of Dumayat Elementary School. He obtained his
Bachelor’s Degree in Education Major in Special Education at Urdaneta City
University. He was a scholar of the Department of Education in Philippine
Normal University for Teachers Handling Children with Learning Disabilities. In
the same university, he obtained his Masters of Arts in Education Major in
Special Education.
He has
intensive trainings in the field of special education specifically in teaching
learners with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and hearing
impairment and learning disabilities. He is a specialist in the field of
reading and behavior modification. Likewise, he attended the in-service
training for foreign teachers that leads him in obtaining a Diploma in
Psychology of Children with Special Needs in Hyogo University of Teacher
Education as Japanese Government Scholar (MEXT).
He is a
speaker, lecturer and trainer in special education both locally and
internationally an a motivational and inspirational speaker to teachers. He
loves doing great things for the learners and inspire many teachers on his
dedication and passion for teaching. Moreover, he conducted and implemented
several trainings, workshops and seminars in the different field of education.
He also authored several unpublished workbooks for learners with special
educational needs, a writer of several articles on the advocacy of special
education both in national magazines and blogsites.
Currently, he is a Head Teacher III and an
advocate, teacher and profoundly dedicated to learners with special educational
needs.
