St. Rafael Parish Church led by Father Catabay provides school supplies for the learners of DES |
San
Rafael Parish Church of Linmansangan, Binalonan, Pangasinan led by Father
Catabay together with Sister Marlyn, Sister Bernadette, Sister Sofia and others
provided the pupils of Dumayat Elementary School of school supplies like pad
papers, pencils, notebooks, and erasers. The church aims to provide basic necessities
of learners as part of their missionary and Godly work and to give smiles on
the faces of the learners. Their advocacy on helping schools is remarkably altruistic.
Aside from that, the church has been an active partner of the school in
developing the learners’ moral and spiritual aspects by conducting monthly mass
and convocations. The learners and teachers imbibes the lessons from the Bible
as explained by Father Catabay and he always emphasized the beauty and
importance of giving.
Meanwhile,
Mr. Ricardo S. Tambogon, the head of the school, together with Mrs. Margarita
R. Ochinang, grade one teacher, gladly accepted the donations. Mrs. Elisa M.
Ochinang recorded and also accepted the donations as part of the Adopt-A-School
Program. The school supplies will benefit the 119 pupils of the school. Undeniably,
these school supplies play vital roles in the pupil's learning process. These
things are very important for their studies as it engages them in their
everyday lessons, activities and learning aspects.
“Let’s
work hand in hand in making our mission to help people especially the learners
in becoming God’s instrument of love, peace and care.”- Father Catabay
