Giving special recognition to hardworking, dedicated and
highly motivated teachers is appreciating their effort and wholehearted service
to our learners. A simple recognition will definitely boosts the confidence and
morale of the teachers that will result to continuous improvement and excellence
to the teaching profession.
This month, two teachers of DES were awarded as “Teachers of
the Month”. They were Janet G. Sibolboro, Kindergarten Teacher and Elisa
M.Ochinang, Grade 5 adviser. These two teachers had showcased their love and devotion
in developing learners, remarkable achievement and commendable contributions in
our school.
Mr. Ricardo Tambogon, the school head, explained about the
criteria in selecting the awardees. It includes teachers’ recognition that
reflect above and beyond the defined boundaries of their duties and
responsibilities and demonstrate punctuality and participate in at least one
school sponsored extra-curricular event and demonstrates effective
communication and outreach to the school and community.
It is rewarding to see teachers who
received a recognition for their effort and love for the school.
