“Help the way we can!”

Amidst today’s pandemic- the COVID-19, teachers and PTA officers of Dumayat Elementary School continually give their services and never-ending support to the nation’s frontliners and community people through different relief operations and donations. The Novel Coronavirus-19 or COVID-19 has started late December 2019 and affected many countries across the globe. It is now considered as pandemic because of its effect to the people, economy, tourism and almost everyday life of people. Dumayat Elementary School responds to the needs of the people and front line workers in the different barangay of Binalonan.

Ricardo S. Tambogon and DES Staffs donated packs of coffee and snacks for the front liners of Dumayat, Binalonan, Pangasinan.

Mrs. Jo Ann A. Desamito, DES PTA President, distributed relief packs of grocery items to 135 households and vegetable packs to 50 households of Dumayat, Binalonan, Pangasinan. She started her voluntary relief operations to help families who are affected by the pandemic. She mentioned that “giving in this times of crisis is a work for our Almighty. Our family blessings are shared to our neighbors as our thank you for the favors of God Almighty to our family.”
Mrs. Marjorie M. Lemon and her batch mates also donated personalized coffee mugs for the frontliners of Barangay Santiago, Binalonan, Pangasinan. This simple donation has great impact in honoring our front liners and giving importance to their work amidst this pandemic.
Mrs. Marlyn C. Casabar voluntarily assisted the barangay officials and front liners of Barangay Canarvacanan in the distribution of Social Amoliation Program and relief operations. She devoted her time in helping the people behind the crisis because it is her heart’s duty to make a difference through little work of hands.
Mrs. Margarita M. Ochinang has always been actively supporting Barangay Dumayat in the different programs and activities. In this current situation, she assisted the barangay council in putting up “Barangay Market” and in the relief operations. She also provided snacks for the front liners of the said barangay.

Mrs. Maristela E. De Peralta, a resident of Poblacion, Binalonan, Pangasinan, continuously giving assistance to poor families in her neighborhood. She also provided relief goods to some residents of Dumayat, Binalonan, Pangasinan together with Mr. Romeo Del Mundo, HT-III of Sta. Maria NHS and Mrs. Margarita R. Ochinang. They privately helped outside the camera because they believed that “helping people need not to be announced. It is our duty to give what we have especially to the neediest.”

In this time of crisis, let’s help one another and spread the love and support even in the simplest way. As the famous quotation says “It’s not how much you give but how much love you put into giving”- Mother Theresa.
